Join Nature Moncton for a free Beginner Birding Workshop (EN) at from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at The Journey Church – Brentwood Campus (155 Dickson Blvd, Moncton, NB E1E 2P9). Budding birding enthusiasts will learn how to use binoculars, how to use the free bird identification app called Merlin, the most common bird species likely to see in the area, and where to find the best birding hot spots in Greater Moncton. The indoor portion of the workshop will be offered in English, followed by a walk to Centennial Park with bilingual interpretation. Participants are encouraged to bring binoculars if they have a pair. Outdoor, weather appropriate clothing and footwear is encouraged. Registration is required by emailing

Participez avec Nature Moncton à l’Atelier gratuit sur l’observation d’oiseaux pour débutants (AN) de 10 h à midi sur le campus Brentwood de l’église The Journey (155, boul. Dickson, Moncton (N.-B.) E1E 2P9). Les fervents d’ornithologie apprendront à se servir de jumelles, à utiliser l’application gratuite d’identification des oiseaux appelée Merlin, à reconnaître les espèces d’oiseaux les plus répandues dans la région et à repérer les meilleurs points d’observation des oiseaux dans le Grand Moncton. La partie de l’atelier qui se déroulera à l’intérieur se déroulera en anglaise et sera suivie d’une randonnée animée dans les deux langues jusqu’au parc du Centenaire. Les participants sont invités à apporter leurs jumelles s’ils en ont. On les encourage à porter des vêtements de plein air et des chaussures adaptées à la météo. Il faut s’inscrire par courriel (
